HISTORY

2009

Eve Women’s Wellbeing Project was created  with the purpose of women supporting women and encouraging feelings of wellbeing through our 5-point plan:

  1. Education

  2. Practical Skills

  3. Listening and Support

  4. Health and Beauty

  5. Mind and Body.

2013

Believe was created for girls aged 10 – 16. Its aim was to reduce the possibility of abuse, bullying and misbehaviour by showing them behavioural habits which would encourage an understanding of their own feelings and the feelings of others.

2014

Funding was obtained in 2014 to start a service for men who have suffered abuse.

2015

Services for women and men were amalgamated in a single charity, which was renamed to become Clean Slate. The charity consists of a team of volunteer counsellors who have completed in-house specialist training and work with both women and men.
