Oxford Solidarity Fashion Show

Updated: May 30

On June 4, 2022, I (and our wonderful women*s officer here at the Oxford Union, Serene Singh) are putting together the first-ever Oxford Solidarity Fashion Show which will be a night to celebrate and empower all those who are survivors of abuse, harm, and other personal trauma. As part of our show, all the models who walk the runway are set to be survivors of all backgrounds and experiences. - the first of its kind ever at Oxford, UK - come to life.

It is time to transform how our catwalks have looked and reimagine what it means to be a leader and an influencer through the art of fashion and modelling. We are drawing this idea from The Serenity Project non-profit's work - a short Documentary clip of the impact of this type of event can be seen here. The event will be held at the Oxford Union Hall and will be completely free of charge.

Clean Slate will be the official charity partner for the event, we would love for you to come along to the event on the 4th of June at 6pm at:

The Oxford Union,

Frewin Court

They are looking for potential folks who identify as survivors in the community who might be interested in walking in the show. We ask that all potential participants please fill out this form.
