Accessing Support To Suit Your Needs
All of the therapist's below have completed placements with us and have now gone into private therapy.
Hello, my name is Poppy and I'm a qualified counsellor and Mental Health First-Aider.
I find working with Clean Slate particularly rewarding as I have personal experience of abuse and the trauma that comes from it.
My approach to counselling comes from a holistic perspective; I take into consideration a person as a whole being; thoughts, physical feelings and emotions, giving all three equal attention. I focus on raising self-awareness which leads to self-knowledge and a deeper understanding of ourselves as human beings. I endeavour to create a strong, supportive working relationship where we can safely work through your problems.
At the moment I work online via zoom and hope to offer face to face in due course.
My fees are £40 weekdays and £50 after 5.30pm and weekends.
£30 a session if you are in receipt of benefits.
Hello my name is Emma and I am a qualified integrative counsellor, with my core training being in person centred therapy.
I believe that one of the greatest gifts you can be given in life is to speak and be truly listened to, heard and understood, this is what I can offer you.
A non-judgemental, friendly, compassionate and confidential space in which to discuss and explore your issues whatever they may be.
I really believe that experiencing validation of your feelings can allow you to explore them in greater depth and together we will explore them, at a pace that you feel comfortable with.
I offer sessions that work for you, be that weekly, fortnightly or monthly and have availability for some evenings and weekend sessions; I am currently working online and by telephone.
I also offer walk and talk therapy in and around the West Oxfordshire area.
Hello. I am Andrew and I am a certified and registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist.
I completed a considerable amount of my qualifying work with Clean Slate, starting in 2018. Over time and further training, I have gained considerable knowledge and understanding of a broad range of abuse related issues, including trauma.
I have qualified later in life, but I do bring along a wealth of life experiences, which I can readily draw on. I also work voluntarily with two other Counselling agencies covering cancer related issues and bereavement.
I am ready to develop with you a sound therapeutic relationship bound with confidentiality. I work to make you feel safe to share your feelings and be heard non-judgmentally and with care and compassion.
I work in an integrated way, using Person Centred Therapy as my foundation model along with insights, tools and skills from the Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) models.
I do have an active faith background and can offer working with Christian spirituality in psychotherapy if you would wish.
I operate online (Zoom and WhatsApp) or on the phone. I can offer Face to Face counselling on premises subject to negotiation
When I am not counselling, I sing in a choral group and enjoy the North Oxfordshire countryside. My other interests include travel and walking, and other music making.
I’m offering all enquiries through Clean Slate a discount.

I got interested in massage after experiencing real benefit from them myself. I have been practising massage for 15 years and have worked with people from all walks of life who come to me with a range of physical and emotional concerns.
I provide a welcoming and safe place for my clients and for the time that they are with me, the time is their own. Massage has been used for centuries to soothe aching bodies and overwhelmed and anxious minds. Clients experience a range of benefits from massage. It can be relaxing or invigorating and many report improved sleep whilst others find the element of touch to be soothing. It's a place to switch off and afford yourself the precious time to start to heal and look after your well-being.
My website is www.louisacox.com where you can book or call me on 07500 537231.
Hello, my name is Katherine, and I am a Qualified Transactional Analysis Counsellor and trainee Transactional Analysis psychotherapist.
I have spent two years on placement at Clean Slate and have seen a variety of people with differing needs and situations. I have supported people though the aftermath of domestic abuse and sexual abuse and am well-versed in understanding trauma and the ways people act to try to cope with that.
I believe that we all have a life-script - a set way of being that helps us to operate within the world. This is created from things that we were told, we learnt, and we observed from those closest to us and the world around us. When we were a child these life-script ways worked for us and kept us safe. However, as we go through into adulthood - and particularly when we experience abuse, those ways of working, very often don't help us anymore. I believe through therapy we can find out about our life-script and work towards creating new ways of being, including discovering who we really are, so that we come out healthier, resilient and emotionally stronger.
I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to allow you the time that you need to be heard. I am friendly and approachable, and nothing will shock me.
I'm based in Wantage in the south of Oxfordshire, and I deliver sessions face-to-face and on Zoom.
Availability on Mondays and Thursdays during the day.
Sessions are for 50 minutes and are charged at £55 per session. I charge you monthly in advance.
I always start with an initial hour's session online charged at £30 so we can get to know each other and see if we would like to work together.
If you're curious about me and the way I work, please do get in touch.
